Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?

After trying some different ways I think this is what works to get every minute:
Before opening the door, drop the brake and then reset it. Then open the door with the brake still set.
I think it looks at the last time the parking brake was applied before the door opening. So if you reset it you should get all your time. Not 100% sure this is how it works, but it seems to have done the trick for me.

At first TW was saying to do this "latency" deal at every airport... Once we pointed out this would send D0 to about 10% he came back a few hours later and said, only do it at LGA because Delta had installed a system that allowed ATC to see our "block out" and that would assume an open gate so no more calling ground with "we're checking" (yet the JFK releases are telling us to follow the same procedure...) And it would supposedly allow Delta to figure out why we block out without moving for 30 minutes so often (cause I guess they can't look out the ramp tower windows). We (recurrent) pointed out the issues of "working for free" and he said that's the same procedure Delta uses. When we pointed out that the ramp treats them the same way Mesaba used to treat Pinnacle in DTW and MSP (Mesaba ALWAYS got priority no matter how long Pinnacle was waiting) He said it was minimal impact and he didn't want to be the reason the new equipment failed.... One captain pointed out it wouldn't be our failure but Delta's lousy ramp and ramp frequency controllers that are a major part of the problem along with Delta tending to get priority.

That's the dumbest thing I think they've ever come up with. I'd be happy to send a acars message with delay information. I'm not sure why that isn't enough for tracking purposes? But if people are on the plane we are responsible for them, and we sure as h$11 should be getting paid for it

So when a trip or part of one is pulled and you're still paid do you return some $ since you didn't earn it ?

Could very well be. I don't really care. I feel if there's passengers, oops, I mean customers on the plane and the door is closed we should be getting paid. I'm also not a fan of waiting out an EDCT or waiting for your place in a de icing que with people on board and the door open to avoid starting the DOT clock. There are procedures to follow if we get close to the 3 hour rule. Why should we take it in the shorts trying to skirt it

We do earn it. It's part of the contract. If it's part of the contract, we earned it. The company agreed on the current contract which means they should have no problem paying us for trips that might of been dropped for issues beyond the pilots control.
