As was explained in a previous discussion on the topic (perhaps you missed it), I have nothing against the AA WO flow model. I also don't see it as working well, at least not thus far. (It may well improve as the majors start hiring more people in the next 2-3 years). Also discussed was the fact that it may never work for folks who are older. For someone in their 20's or 30's, it's a great deal.
And also as I have said before, I think the AA WOs have it over EDV/DL when it comes to longevity for retirement flight benefits. It's a great thing to carry with you in case you DO make it to AA. You don't lose all your time you spent at the WO.

I still fail to see how being older negates any value a flow potentially offers pilots. In my mind if you're knocking on deaths door and have ten years or less remaining in the industry would it not make more sense to have that backup? What good would it do that person to spend 2-4 years here to have a chance at the DGI interview just to end up with Arnie on your interview panel and be sent back to square one. Maybe when someone is old enough to collect SS you also get Willy Wonka's golden Legacy ticket too...I sure hope 3-5 years down the road all of this career progression banter is a moot point, but I'm a pessimist by nature.

PS I've already gotten a few PMs from people since I posted my story. I love it. I'm here to help. I'm nobody special. No internals, not a check airman, I don't fly for the military. We have a golden opportunity. At least make yourself better and ride the wave, wherever you end up. Why there would be negativity to what I said is just beyond me.

Delta is hiring attitudes. I could tell you about the turmoil I went through, but better yet ask my wife, because she was going through it with me. I felt bad for what I put her through.

That's great for you!
Delta is a great company.
I don't know what should be said for the remaining 45% that didn't get on with delta.
For anyone looking for a major airline job........is a coin flip good enough?
Or would you pick the coin that has major on both sides......

And when they are going around their seniority they will go, no wondering if said company "likes" you even though you fly their passengers for years and years.

It's prorated for anyone who leaves 9E to go to DL. If they leave for anywhere else, they lose the money.
