do you guys think raising guarantee to 80 or more hours would happen without adverse effects? The company would expect everyone to work for that. That means more days working. You'd tack on an extra day or two to cover the pay. For everyone. Reserves would lose any shot at getting that 12th day off too. This doesn't sound like a win to me..

*****SARCASM ALERT********
Are you boys and girls really trying to get into a tit / dick measuring contest? EDV is a WO by DL. We all have skin in the game.
BTW DL is based in 65 hours a month according to the pay notes section Delta Air Lines | AirlinePilotCentral.com
Isn't it smarter to work this together than opposed?

Take a look in section 27. The contract defines "average monthly pay" as 80 hours for ESL, and disability pay.
To determine average monthly credit, it needs to be off the numbers as awarded by PBS, before open time pickups, junior assignments, etc. Open time can disappear in a heartbeat. Commuters, reserves, and other people that can't or don't want to pick up trips shouldn't be penalized. No pilot should take any kind of cut in pay in this market of supposed pilot shortages. I like being home with my family and prefer commutable trips. That usually gives me 3 five day trips a month with a 75 hour credit. Why should I have to work more to make the same money? I say it needs to be at least $25.55 for everyone so nobody loses out. Why would any of us be against that?

I'm not itching for a fight. You're the one who came at me first in response to an off the wall comment I made. I could tell that it illicited some emotion. I've been told numerous times from Delta pilots that any gains at Endeavor adversely affects their profit sharing. I was wrong to make such a blanket statement. But quite frankly, it's disturbing to hear and witness these kind of attitudes from some of the Delta ranks. I'm not sure what part of that stuck a nerve with you, or even why you post on a regional forum? Not that it matters, it's a public forum. You just seem somewhat defensive. And the Delta arrogance showed in both your responses to me.
I came at you? I asked you, "what's your point?" That's how you interpreted it? You're guilty of assuming I was attacking. I gave you some background info and for some reason took that personally. I understand some of our pilots have problems with our regional partners but you must look at it from their perspective, whether theirs is right or wrong. As for me, I spent almost a decade at a regional and have an all civilian background like so many hired in the last 3 years. I personally have more empathy than most of our old guard.
As for participating in the regional boards, specifically the Endeavor forum, I want to understand what's going on with everything that could impact Delta. Forgive me for showing any interest in my company.

We are here as a way to subsidize Delta pay rates... If we were paid the rates in the Delta contract, Delta pilots would have to take a cut to balance out (good luck with that) They pay us half to then give that money to their own rates. So in a sense they are correct that they are paying for our raises.

You do realize that the company made sure this was a bonus so they could get out of it in a short time?
It's not your pay. It's a bonus to keep you here for a short period.
Let's turn it into something that is pay and means something and makes them work much much harder to take away.
It's sucks some for the 15% but it's going to suck a lot worse for everyone when $23000 worth of "bonus" money disappears.

Seriously! Not trying to throw these guys under. They actually are pretty solid coworkers, but I don't see them being too concerned about the BIG EDV picture. Why would they? They are most likely counting down the days to eject!
