With the number of overnights there I've had in the last 2 months, I wonder if I'm not based there sometimes...

The little local food place down the side road about 1/3 of a mile isn't bad for something other than chain food. Of course, its hard to beat Waffle House

I was very glad I bid off the deuce right as we started showing up in CHA, TRI, MGM and the like.

There was a solid little southern food/barbecue place down some empty road that was surprisingly good in MGM.

Some of those station reports are brutal. I've had days where I've managed two different hotel breakfasts...

Stayed in CHA just the other day. It's a bit of a drive from the airport, but the driver was awesome and the hotel is really nice (in my opinion).

Are there any "nice" crash pads in NYC? Or are all of the pads pretty much the same? I'm okay with spending a little more if it gets me a better place. Thanks!

About 3 months ago I overnighted there, and walked into a convenience store just after sundown. Seeing no one in there, I assumed the employee was just in the back and I proceeded to look for some food. Then out of no where, "WHAT DO YOU WANT!!?" The cashier was hiding, and I come to find out the week before somebody threw chemicals in her face and robbed the place.
