Yeah, I know that’s playing with the numbers a bit, but...I’m away from the fam to sit on reserve (why do we need 12 people on reserve again?j, so I consider that part of the job.

If you figure that P1 reserve is 14 hours and you only get paid for 4, that makes your reserve pay less than $10 an hour.
Dude you got $10/hr to do nothing-well done

Default Questions

I've got some questions about Endeavor. Any chance anyone is available to chat this afternoon. Let me know.

Is MSP the only place that will add a 4th stripe to the blazer? I asked in CVG they said they don’t do it.

DTW might. The answer I got was that it depends on who made the jacket. I have an M&H and no crew outfitters would touch it. Had to get material from M&H and have my tailor at dry cleaners do it.

I Bought the stripe from them and just took it to my local tailor and got it done cheaper. Also $10 for a piece of fabric you can get at the store for .89 cents. I would suggest going over to jo ann fabric or some other craft place and seeing if they have it. Not with buying from them.

I got my local tailor to do it...faster and a higher quality job. While I was at training I went down to M&H and bought the stripe from them (they pulled it off roll and cut enough for two sleeves) and then just took it home.

My local tailor has had to fix all the initial tailoring from that MSP shop. After MSP fixed the sleeves on my blazer once I had to take it to my guy to get it done right. Same with the pants.

Absolutely absurd. Like this will somehow force Delta to buy 73's??? Nope. Let's start trade wars with our last consistent allies on Earth. No big deal. Delta will just buy Embraer's or Airbuses. Congrats, you bankrupted Canadian, Irish, and American (Pratt & Whitney) workers so money could go to other French speaking people...

Default Denied adds/swaps with 30 hour overnight

Has anyone run into issues with OT pickups, trip swaps or drops being denied because the company will not count a 30 hour overnight as rest but instead duty? Talking with other pilots, this seems to be a recurring issue.

If you have had any trade/drops denied by Crew Scheduling because of this, complete a pilot issue form with ALPA so that this practice gets documented and a remedy can be reached.

They weren't going to flow you to staff anything. Their pilot job fair 1200 slots sold out in minutes. And according to stuck articles in the news today, Delta appears to be committed to the CSeries

Where does your certainty come from? Are the AA flows in response to AA having an issue hiring? Last I knew they weren’t. You seem awfully certain we won’t since DAL is having no issue getting applications. Perhaps, the flow solves the staffing at the lower cost tiers? Staff Endeavor by offering guaranteed movement, the same way way Piedmont, PSA, and Envoy are getting new hires. Endeavor isn’t seeing a shortage of new pilots now but should the issue arise...

Thanks for your expertise, I appreciate your concern for us from PSA
