People need to have applications in everywhere they want to go. A flow is not the answer. Create connections in this industry be outgoing don’t just wait for them to come to you.
The only problem is, the DGI is contingent on upgrading to captain, and that is contingent on growth of the fleet because there are a large number of captains who have been unsuccessful at the interview who have not left, and every time 10 pilots interview, another 5 or so will be added. This phenomenon will not entirely stop interviews but it will slow it enough to make it meaningless, unless we continue to grow. (or the current captains leave en masse)

Your inability to understand what some of us are trying to tell you does not mean we have to break it down to kindergarten level for you any further. I get it. Life is unfair, and you want fair. I have no issues with that. Trouble is, what is fair for YOU is unfair for someone else. But I doubt you care much about that.

The DGI can be metered to 12 interviews a month. It isn't just "be a captain for 2 years and wham, interview time". Instead of waiting 1+ years for a class date like the SSP, new hires will wait years for an interview date.

Waiting years to flow seems better than waiting years to interview.

There is no substantial fleet growth left, just musical chairs on the titanic. If the fleet plan is 160-180 planes, we are already at around 140 growing to around 150. Its just swap CR2 for CR7/9 coming in the future...

There is room for growth, just ask Skywest. Granted it is at the
Expense of someone else.

If we hold onto the 200s, but that's doubtful. There are a total of 22 Delta owned CR7's at G7, 2 Delta owned CR7's at OO and 9 Delta owned CR9s at OO. Those could all be brought here and swapped for the CR2s and we not get any growth out of it at all.

Us and Compass are about to be the only ALPA airlines. GoJet and Republic are Teamsters and SkyWest is nothing... And I wouldn't be shocked to see Compass out of DCI in the not too distant future.

Regardless, even if our pay is based on 83 hours, I will strive to work 75 or less hours per month. I much prefer the QoL that comes with time off. That’s why many DL FOs stay in the right seat, enjoying time off while making $300-400K per year.
Delta FO's aren't making $300K per year even if they play the green slip game.

Incorrect. Saw the screen shot of a current 6 yr Mad Dog FO's 2016 pay stub year end gross pay: $342,000 and some change.
