In 5 years more than half our pilots will have moved on.
The MRJ, 175#2, revamped crj900's will all be available.
Let's see if the TA has most of what we want minus a flow
That's tomorrow not 5years
Jeebus man, take that hat off and cool off. Isn't it tea time for you?

The bonus structure cost our average line pilot nearly 5 thousand dollars last year. It cost me over 10. If either of you would like to have an actual discussion over the substance of my post, I'd be happy to oblige.
I'm picken up what you're layin down.

Totally agree.

We grew quicker in 2016 than we will with the plan on paper right now. A slowing of growth isn’t a good thing.

We can't grow indefinitely though...

Slowing growth isn’t good. No growth isn’t good. I agree. I think everyone would love the prospect of more and quicker growth.

I was inquiring about your statement of no growth. I thought maybe I had missed an announcement of more (than the announced 16) 200s headed to the desert. I wouldn’t be surprised if those aircraft do go, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if hiring allowed them to keep them here. There was never a set number in 2016, it was just what hiring would staff. I would guess that is still in play, but it’s better for them to announce a fleet reduction and then lower the reduction count than it is to just retire planes out of the blue.

Whichever way it plays out, there is still growth. I would call it 15 aircraft seeing as that is how many more aircraft we will have than now.

Delta didn't give any planes to Skywest, Skywest placed an order for aircraft. Did you even take a business 101 class, or did you just not read the article because you seem to be missing a piece to this puzzle?

You do realize the only reason we are parking the 200's is because of staffing here. Delta told us they would bring back as many 200's as we could staff. They decided that XJT 900's were important to the program and 31 900's needed to be added, with planned hiring and attrition we could only staff 31 900's if we parked soon 200's. Go recruit some of your friends. Stop whining about your good, high paying job on forums, start portraying this company the way it is and we might be able to staff the 200's schedule for removal in which case we'd probably keep them.

So many negative nancies along with Debbie downers. Here’s what’s what.

Go to OO. They will give you longevity in pay up to ten years. Than means you can go to OO and start at 92 bucks an hour on RSV FO seniority.

200s. We have no official plan at 9E to ditch these yet. The same is not true regarding the EV birds coming here. THere are 4 on property now getting MX. 138EV, 176PQ, 228PQ and 232PQ. The last planes we get will be the 3 -700s which are all very old. Starting in 2018, the 200’s are scheduled again for heavy checks and Delta will decide whether to keep them or ditch them. Management has no clue yet what will happen with the 200s.

Hiring has slowed. The numbers have dropped. The more they drop, the more we will get. The more we hire, the less we get. It’s all market driven.

Sorry bud, not going to lie to my friends. I'll give them the facts and they'll make their own decisions. The fact is the market keeps getting more competitive for pilots. We'll see what they company does to up their offerings.
