I’m planning on enjoying my life more than 5 years, wherever I happen to call my job at that time.
I don’t want to be here that long, but then again, most of the senior pilot list felt the same way 12 yerars or more ago.

Glad you "don't do airline pilot negotiations" if all you're after is "soft money"
My point is, the soft pay has been below industry standards for quite some time, and getting it back to the norm still doesn't make up for what's been lost. I'm not saying it shouldn't be negotiated, I'm saying I would hope there's more to it than just soft money if they think it'll pass.

You're the one that said you didn't want to hear about soft money.
I re read his post a couple times. He's trolling, or cant count past ten without taking off his shoes or he has never watched rainmaker. Maybe a combination of two or more.
How can you be apathetic toward soft pay? Softpay for some of our guys is the whole check. Any lineholder is going to have 20% of their check from softpay.

I've met way too many pilots that only read the pay rates in the contract.

Looking forward to seeing the TA today.
My uneducated non informed predictions:
1. Better reserve rules
2. Better retirement 401k contribution
3. More defined documentation of DGI (or similar but better program)
4. They took our current pay rates added the 83 hour retention and then added 5-7% to that number.
5. Some stuff to make instructors stay here and do a good job.
6. Co domicile in NY.
7. Longer seat locks
8. Better priority on delta to get to work.
9. Tweaks in the commuter policy to make it easier to work in ATL and NYC.
