Yeah I’d switch that. Sounds boring and almost sarcastic with a touch of condescending given the circumstances.

“Hey thanks for paying hundreds to ride in a shotty Golden Touch bus to get out to some remote gate, and get drenched in the rain while shattering your ear drums waiting to get onto our small, old, and dirty 50 seater. Don’t worry, when you finally do get to your seat, you’ll have zero space for anything. Don’t mind our 8 hour taxi to the runway. If you do manage to fall asleep, you’re in luck, our finest ex-waffle house hoochy will be sure to bang your elbows as she tries to stuff herself down the aisle launching glutten free pretzels and room temp water at you. But hey, sit back relax and enjoy the 47 minute flight to Norfolk!”

I've got an invitation for an initial phone interview. What should I expect to be asked, anything I need to study?

What does the hotel committee even do anymore, the hotels have gotten worse over the course of 2017. That should have been in the TA, we don't let the FAs make the pilots stay in sh1tholes.
The Microwave Mafia strikes again!!!

If you're very senior in a base, any base, your qol is high but that's nothing to do with fleet type. The majority of pilots will and have done better on the 900, because the majority of pilots at this company are not now, nor will they ever be senior. those are the facts, and they are not in dispute.

Read a union communication every once in a while. Besides that, a mass exodus is happening on the 200 for pilots junior to you, you think that's vanity, or perhaps are you thinking back to how remarkably detached you are and realizing "you know someone explained this to me once and i was waiting for my turn to say 'well ive got 17 off' instead of listening to facts being relayed and now I'm realizing I should listen instead of assuming i already know everything.

The 200 does blow, but not nearly as much as commuting.... Food for thought.
