We could work every other odd Tuesday and 30% of the pilot group would find a way to complain.

I’m curious as to what you do for EDV that is not the same as mainline pilots?

I’m happy with what I have and I understand with all these changes it takes time to implement them. I don’t see the big conspiracy against us I guess.

Unless you count per diem, you aren't getting paid on a 3+ hour sit. Yes, I value time at home greatly. Yes, that extra day means a lot to me. Have you ever heard anyone on their death bed say they wished they spent more time at work? Just as importantly, I value the contract that we bargained for. I do everything I need to do to hold up my end of it and I expect the company to do the same. If I have to work more than the contract requires, I expect to be compensated. But then again, by the logic suggested by you and others, we should just lay down and take whatever the company gives us because it sucks at other carriers or sucked here at one time.

Yes, we have it better now here than we ever have, but that's not a reason to accept contract violations. Even less of a reason to belittle a fellow pilot for standing up for what we negotiated for.

I for one don’t fly over the ocean with 200 people on board with a dozen crew members. But I guess we both go from A to B right? Like a bus driver or a heck even a cab driver right? That guys new SUV wasn’t cheap. Where’s all the outrage over their salaries. Since we all take people from here to there

He doesn't cross the ocean, doesn't work with more than two FAs at a time, no augmented crews. Also doesn't get profit sharing, lol.

Don't worry about prex too much. He probably was one of the guys that was happy to work for an airline for $20k a year because they let him fly an airplane AND paid him to do it. Now he's bitter because market conditions dictate we are treated better and thinks everyone should walk uphill to school both ways in the snow.

As the saying goes “Rome wasn’t built in a day”. I want everything that you want. But we just voted in this TA 2 monthes ago. I’m no software genius but I’d imagine stuff like this takes time.
Patience grasshopper. It’ll come. I’m not losing my cool over probaky 3 days of my life over the next few monthes. Can’t imagine all the other stuff beyond work I’ve wasted my life on doing that i won’t get badk. Least I’m getting paid. I’m so sure that girl from junior year of high school i wasted all that time fretting over thinks about me still...

On a five leg day with full flights, I can transport up to 380 pax. Big deal, you can spin it any way you want. The bottom line is, we are all held to the same licensing, safety and performance standards. We are all pilots transporting pax for the Delta brand. Should a CRJ driver get the same as a 777? Hell no, but the regional model needs to disappear. At the very least, have a defined way of getting mainline wages and benefits. One of my FOs brought up a good point about skilled trade apprenticeships.

I'm happy the TA passed. It gave us some really good gains, and I'm confident more will come. Now about that girl...

Does anyone have 900 CFM rev 4 on their content locker yet? Flew a plane single pack today at FL310. I called the dispatcher since the CFM in my content locker, the MEL, and the QRH all said single pack limit is FL250 but they said the new limitation is in effect today.
