I was told a OO DFW base is happening this year from a recruiter. We’ll see.

We've been calling this for literally months. Our new MGMT has said several times publicly to expect more aircraft announcements. This is the only logical step. DL already owns the planes, contract up this year, we already operate out of their base more than they do, and we're tooling up for 3 700's?? New MGMT also said straight up that 3 aircraft makes no sense unless your plan is to add more.

I'll calling my shot on this one. 700's from 'them' by years end.

The threat of a regional strike from Skywest or us, is less than zero. So at this point you have no reason to have more than two DCI carriers.

How many of our folks live in RDU, or would commute there? RDU is a very niche commute. To make it a domicile seems weird. I’d see CVG before RDU

I know of one captain off the top of my head. My guess is they’ll try to get a lot of guys to jump ship and come over here. I’ve heard rumors of United dropping GoJet as well. Prepare for gojet to be the next air Wisconsin or next xjt of pilots to flurry over. Yay ugh

I'm not so sure it would have much to do with who lives there now and more with supporting the operations there if there were no more G7. I saw a planning update a while back that said RDU represented some 10% of our total flying, more than any other outstation. That could've changed obviously but that was interesting. And if we took all or most of the RDU 900/700 flying I would be it would be more flying than DTW. It's an easy commute from any Delta focus city, just look at the routes. And would be easy to staff with G7 people that would want to stay in RDU. It's already a functioning domicile for G7 and TSA. Anything is possible.
