It will increase as Captains and First Officers head to SWA, United, Spirit, and Jet Blue. Delta will need to provide our pilots with an incentive to stay here. At present, a 50/50 chance at a DAL interview is not going to work for the wise ones. They will be long gone unless Delta gets their act together with career progression. My prediction is that United will take a huge chunk of our First Officers and Captains within the next 18 months.

Think 16 went to SSP other 21split up I’m sure. It still means not enough pilot growth to add aircraft

They really gotta get some news out there about the DGI. Hopefully an enhancement to it. Guys are becoming eligible real soon.

Asked a chief pilot this week about it and was assured that getting the EtD and DGI sorted out is a "top priority."

That's good. I'd like the interviews a month to be increased up from an average of 12. Given the strong hiring for the last two years they can handle a lot more. The 12/month was from when we were smaller and hiring fewer each month.

15 a month would be fair. Again it’s only interviews, so let’s say its 75% yes, you’re only losing 11-12 anyways

I was under the impression that the interviews are supposed to be set as the program matures to give an average of 12 a month movement. IE, if pass rate is less than 100% the number of interviews is supposed to increase.

No one knows how it will play out yet, because no one has turned in the required memo requesting to be part of the DGI.
