Can I use my Uflymike non-TSO? I'd rather not shell out $300 for a Telex on ebay.

Our FOM requires a TSO'd headset below 18000'.

By the book, no. But no one has ever asked me if my headset is TSO compliant. YMMV

Delta already owns the planes, they can just wait for the CPA to expire and move the planes or they can find a reason in the contract to end the CPA early. Exactly let’s not undercut ourselves here, we’re at the point That we need to stop hiring because we have so many applicants, if we were to announce the West Coast base I bet anyone $100 that we would get very high stack of applications from that city that would want to work there and staff that base. For some people it may be hard to believe but we are desirable airline to work for, go over to the air Wisconsin page they got new hires looking to jump over HERE again now because it’s still so bad there even with their new announced united flying, people arent flocking to them like the company had hoped, and they are having a pretty high washout rate. Everyone keeps asking how we would staff these 175’s in the West Coast base, just announce it to the public.... if you build it they will come, we dont need a merger to fill seats

I used a qc2 with the ufly mike for about 10 years. During that time I only had one LCP give me a hard time about it. That was early 2012 during the dark years. I know it’s in the FOM. And technically we should comply. But it’s really a non issue if you carry spare batteries. The headset gives you plenty of warning when the battery is about to die. And it takes less than 15 seconds to change it
