According to out CEO, who is also the DCI CEO, Delta is in negotiation to transfer the E175's to 9E starting at the end of this year. If those negotiations fail, we will receive them at the end of next year. Delta needs the 200's till the end of 2022, so probably, either we merge with Compass sooner, or the 200's are exchanged for E175's later, as the planes will be almost all at once.
None of this may come true, as it's an airline negotiation.

Delta doesn’t have to buy Compass to get those planes to Endeavor. Delta already owns the planes, they can just wait for the CPA to expire and move the planes or they can find a reason in the contract to end the CPA early. Similar situation, Delta didn’t have to buy Expressjet in order to move all the Delta owned planes to Endeavor.

Exactly let’s not undercut ourselves here, we’re at the point That we need to stop hiring because we have so many applicants, if we were to announce the West Coast base I bet anyone $100 that we would get very high stack of applications from that city that would want to work there and staff that base. For some people it may be hard to believe but we are desirable airline to work for, go over to the air Wisconsin page they got new hires looking to jump over HERE again now because it’s still so bad there even with their new announced united flying, people arent flocking to them like the company had hoped, and they are having a pretty high washout rate. Everyone keeps asking how we would staff these 175’s in the West Coast base, just announce it to the public.... if you build it they will come, we dont need a merger to fill seats

It takes too much down time to write a program, train a cadre, develop Op Specs, do proving runs, and apply and wait for an operator certificate. It’s much easier to acquire the whole dang certificate whole from TSH, and merge with 9E. That, in my feeble-minded non aviation business acumen, is the most efficient way to get eJets to 9E.

If you think a merger doesn't incite a mass exodus of pilots from 9E, I think you're crazy. It might be the most efficient way to get them on property, but probably not staffing them. How many years did the Pinnacolaba merger take to get over? According to some people, we still haven't...
