I disagree with your high authority. Conversely, I have it on high authority that your statement is not correct. I sense your sarcasm and humor though. Great spin. I love making 5 quarters fit into 100%.

Yes, it enables them to whipsaw the planes, but that could be to our benefit, if the staffing crisis gets bad at Skywest (which is going to happen).

If we were that expensive, over-staffing this place isn't the solution. Hiring a significant number of new sim instructors also isn't the solution.
The problem with your assessment is that for early 2000 XJ guys the boogeyman has been hiding around every corner the entire time.

And most of them took the door and left, did they not? Only the XJ pilots were hurt by the merger, not a single 9E or 9L pilot? In any case, we're so far beyond the merger at this point, who really cares.

Wasn’t just talking about the merger.

That’s just when the boogeyman jumped out and kicked some of us in the nuts harder than usual.

I had guys hired after me at 9L senior to me(9E) after the SLI. Pretty sure only the 9L guys won in the merger. They end up senior to guys hired before them and then all their planes go away and they still have a job flying planes that I had been waiting 7 years to upgrade on. But after many years of therapy I’m almost over it...

Anyone know how long it typically takes for our 401k contributions to hit our account after pay day? 10 days and nothing. Seems longer than usual.

Mine hasn't posted yet either. Looking at previous contributions it should have been there by now.

I had my first deduction on the 15th and haven't had mine hit, either. I called Fidelity and got the party line of "companies have until the 15th of the next month to post contributions."

How long do contributions usually take to post?
