As retirements go on, I wonder if the 10K+ will be more appealing when the choice is between 10K+ and 3K for the majors.
Others may re-evaluate their decisions just as people who got out and have been doing desk jobs have decided to jump back in.
Of course significant problems in one’s background and QOL preferences will still be out there.

I think it is a bigger problem to have a great resume without career progression, than to have a couple bad issues on there. A company has to ask themselves, why would someone who has such a great resume, be stuck at a regional this long? Lack of motivation, because the lost decade really isn't an excuse, there were plenty of jobs out there.

Wasn’t there a “lifer”FO who got hired in 2007 when it was called Pinnacle and worked there for about 10 years? One of those who got hired at 300 hrs back when they could and never wanted to upgrade to captain. But somehow they got hired into Delta not long ago.

A lot of places make sense, until they stop growing. How many people would we lose here alone if September, the announcement was, no more planes and no upgrades for 2yrs?
