Yes both Delta and DCI. Just main cabin.

Oh SIR Delta, thanks for riding in on your white horse to throw a little salt in the wound. You guys are something else over there. The memo also says it mirrors Deltaís Deadhead policy. Maybe you should familiarize yourself with that and report back. Jeesh

Maybe you should familiarize yourself with mainline contractual DH policy before looking like an idiot.

Our contract requires certain DHs be in Business class or better. Never mind the fact that IT has gone through great lengths in the last year to give mainline pilots the ability to upgrade ourselves through Delta.com to Comfort within 24 hours of departure AND put ourselves on the FC and Comfort upgrade lists.

Is it lost on you that this is most likely the case of a 9E employee spouting off on something they know nothing about? You really think a 9E memo dictates mainline DH policy or that this memo is the absolute gospel (meaning accurate) on the subject? Thatís laughable.

Read the memo carefully before spouting off. It says the glitch has been fixed for DCI crews while stating it was prior mainline policy. Iíve shown thatís not true, therefore, the memo is not correct about the mainline policy.

We can still select C+ within 24 hours of departure. The "glitch" allowed us to select those seats prior to that.

I thought when you graduated to Delta that your IQ went up 50 points, you got taller, and you didnít speak to the ďhelpĒ anymore.

Right so this memo is saying thatís not allowed, even within 24 hours, any more for DCI, correct?

WTF this place keeps getting worst by the minute, whatís next....????

Itís why there is a upgrade list, which always had us at the lowest upgrade priority, if paying customers were listed on the upgrade list, we wouldnít get the upgrade anyways!!!

Our leadership constantly thanks us for everything we do, for being the ďGOLD STNDĒ this must be a direct result of the appreciation of our efforts!

Great job making the work environment worst every day, I be sure to bid not to DH, at the end of the day DH is for helping the company...

Thanks!

From the memo: ďThe ability to stand by or select seats in these cabins is contrary to Deltaís deadhead travel policy, which requires all Delta and Delta Connection crews to sit in the main cabin while traveling as deadhead crew members.Ē

Clearly says Delta and Delta Connection. Now I understand that memo means nothing to you and thatís fine. But the only flights you are entitled to the upgrade are ocean crossings and flights to/from NRT/HND that are more than 5:15 block. Everything else is main cabin. Looks to me like you could get stuck with this too for the majority of deadheads.
