Why do we all need to get a shot? Not everyone gets a shot at the best jobs at the best companies in any other industry?
The more a big airline grows with small airplanes in lower pay bands doesn’t really seem to accomplish much if you can hit those pay bands at a regional after 10+ years.

If 9e shrinks. Pilots get furloughed. Those guys then lose their income, guaranteed interview, currency. Hard to get a flying job then. Jr CA’s get downgraded.
But Delta hires more non 9e pilots sounds like a good deal for us.

Our flying isn’t going away, it’s being reallocated.
