As far as reserve times - DTW 900 and MSP 900 will be longer periods of reserve. In the NY bases 5-6 months of reserve and dropping.
I don't want to be a cheerleader, but the new hires I have flown with have been quite happy here. Most movement is on the 200 as that fleet grows this spring.

Awesome, thanks. For Endeavor folks who live in each of the 4 bases, can you share your experience living there? Good places to live? Prices for rent & utilities?
DTW and MSP have both the 200 and 900. JFK and LGA are 900 only.

Can anyone tell me what the lines in NY look like as far as # of days off for new F/O's as well as senior F/O's. Are they usually min or are there nice lines with 15+ days off?
Also I have Endeavor pamphlet that mentions 'Flexible Schedule'. Is that anything like the SAP at PSA? Is there really flexibility in the schedules?

On average it takes about 6 months of validation period. LCA and instructors using it on flights and during ground school and sim. It takes another 3-4 weeks of flying with both before you go paperless. Right there takes 6-7 months.

I've lived in Minneapolis now for about 10 years and have really enjoyed it. Rent is pretty expensive, not NYC prices, but definitely more than Detroit. Lots of great culture here, plenty of outdoors stuff to do, and loads of local craft brewers if you're into that. I've lived all across the country and am very happy to have landed in Minnesota. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

The Detroit area is actually very nice! Cost of living is low. Winter isn't to bad and summer isn't to hot. Detroit gets a bad rap in the press but actually the city is really cool. It's vibrant and coming back, has a lots of great culture, sports, restaurants, bars, brewery's, and events. Within reserve call out drive time you can find anything you want except mountains. City living, suburbs, rural, lakefront, small town, medium town, college town, whatever. It's all here to chose from. If you want more specifics feel free to PM me. Also nice thing about DTW is it's pretty junior for us and if you get in at DAL its junior there. Some guys are getting DTW out of training at DAL, some have to commute to NY for six months or so. But if DAL is your goal, they have every fleet with the exception of the MD based here.
