Yes, he was in my crashpad. Less than a year here, lives in IAH. Was awarded the 175 in IAH and got a huge sign-on bonus. He’s retired military, doesn’t care about riding out the rest of his years at a regional. Not commuting to NY, no crashpads and they have a lot of growth planned, sounded like a good fit for his situation

Quoted for truth. For the most part, suck it up and live near base and move when they close it. The exception of this being NY or LA. Whole different jawb.

If it’s who I’m thinking of. It’s an FO who commutes from IAH. Didn’t want to commute and believes that upgrade is gonna go from 9 years to 2 within the next year with all the growth? Wanted to fly the 175, Better reserve rules. Flew with him and he kept trying to persuade me to leave too. Yeah no, don’t wanna go back to right seat for god knows how long but in his case I felt it was a good decision on his part for his qol.
