Try a different FSDO or call a DPE and pay...

I did it recently through a DPE. Bring one paper 8710 for each limitation that you're removing. If you're removing the 61.167 restriction, bring your logbooks to prove your aeronautical experience. If you're removing the CL-65 PIC limitation, bring your completed 9E FT-SOE form.

Feel free to PM if you have more questions.

Yup! I have 61.167 and "Pilot does not meet PIC aeronautical experience requirements. I'm not too sure where that FT-SOE form is but I do have a saved copy of it on my phone. So then I would just need to fill out 1 8710 and then the FT-SOE form?

Thanks!

I found MSP-DTW to be best planned as MSP-MKE-DTW or MSP-GRR-DTW with the accompanying waste of time connecting.. The reverse was usually nonstop if you left first thing in the morning (thus wasting half a day arriving early, unless you are a type to have side strange)

SWA is tough until the Max returns... once it does, it could become a monster or it could be a shell of potential, only time will tell there.... but for now, I'd say most of us will be disappointed commuting on them on tight routes. Other routes, they treat us great.

Because from the sounds of it, he doesn’t want to wait until recurrent.

The word that we got was one 8710 for each limitation, so we did two forms. The first form was submitted with logbook pages for 61.167, and the second form was submitted with FT-SOE for the PIC type limitation. Check with your DPE about whether an electronic copy of the FT-SOE form would work.
