Your posts are so entertaining. You can’t get to work, even when the company is offering positive space seats to and from trips?

Delta posted a new schedule yesterday. It actually looks a little more positive.

Next month's schedule adds a handful of flights back to our schedule for the last week of June.

July's first draft brings us about a 60% increase in the number of flights on a weekday, still primarily out of ATL, DTW, and MSP.

Here's the really interesting part. The July schedule also includes the first half of August... and August looks an awful lot like our schedules before Covid went down. It includes a return to regular ops at JFK and LGA; a ramp-up of service at ATL; CVG and RDU resuming as focus cities; and the 200 flying again in NYC, CVG, and RDU. The CM7s and CM8s return. DTW and MSP ops shrink a touch from July.

August has no service to secondary markets like HPN, MDW, or PVD, nor does it have any Mad Dog service. Thus, that August schedule wasn't just left over from the old schedules by mistake. It looks like the Delta plan (right now) is to spool us back up in August.

Flica alerts indicate flying has increased at the end of June. That’s the good news.

The bad news, if your finding out about increased open time via this post, it’s already been picked up.

Where exactly did you find that schedule? Just trying to compare pre-COVID vs August and I can’t find it anywhere on Deltanet

It was under Network Scheduling. It looks like they published a new July schedule on the 28th that removed all of the August schedules. So much for that, I guess.

They're still adjusting June schedules. August seems like.a lifetime away.

Funny but sad how it goes full circle.

Do not despair. The turkey man lives long and prospers, so I hear.
