Well, given the jobs numbers, counting on a resession to solve our staffing problems is looking like a pretty risky bet...

I’m agreeing with you . Regardless of one’s politics we know darn well gas prices will keep coming down and inflation will go down as we head to the midterms and I see demand for flying to increase if anything for the fall and winter … would be nice to have some idea what’s happening to positive space commute , just any info at all.

the info is, it’s going away. Count on it. Call outs will triple to quadruple, and even more flights will cancel because of lack of staffing. Those flights cancelling will cause even more staff to miss commutes. But DL doesn’t care because they need to see the “data” first. But yeah, it’s gone after October.

It will be extended if DL doesn't have a contract in place yet at least until the new year. After that then it's all if they get into the contract.

Why do you think this? Positive space commuting sunsets at the end of the October bid period. There are no plans to extend it, and it has nothing to do with the status of our contract negotiations.

All evidence to the contrary. Press X for doubt.

All of my sources point to keeping positive space to and from work .

Okay, Mr regional pilot. Some sources say the earth is flat; nobody gaf what your “sources” (lol) say. What the previous guy posted was just flat out wrong.

The official line is that PSC sunsets at the end of the October bid period. Until that officially changes, make life plans based on PSC at your own risk.

Easy there Aqualung/Karen…I think everyone knows what it says . There are about a million things that can change/happen between now and end of October (LOL) . If it stays it stays and if it goes it goes . We will find out soon enough . Not worth popping a blood vessel over . I’ll let you get back to taking care of your cats now and your flat earth .
