Its still an unfair onesided system that a mainline will always defend and say everything is just fine and regionals should be greatful we are allowed to fly their routes. Nobody forces a mainline to buy a regional yet regional pilots will never be alowed the same benifits as mainline pilots in mergers and buyouts eventhough we do the same exact job.

We have laws in this country to try to maintain equality between race and gender or groups of people, but somehow its still ok to discriminate against regional pilots.

Simple Definition of discriminate:
to unfairly treat a person or "GROUP OF PEOPLE" differently from other people or groups
Glad you ended that part at the end, but lots of people are discriminated against and perhaps a federally protected few is an idea that could use some revision, however, everyone in the regionals is probably gonna have a shot at a major, yet some will choose to stay. Theres no reason to compare us regional guys, to federally protected groups who had no shot because of how they were born.

Well for the 55% that were turned down by the SSP that are still here, I'd guess they'd say at least the flow didn't cost several hundred dollars and 2 days off (minimum) like the SSP to get the same result. Plus the flow pulled people off ot the (basically) top of the seniority list, the SSP has been more successful at pulling FO's out of the mid/bottom of the list. That doesn't make for good career progression.

Well, Comfort Plus finally on the first 200. Maybe I'll end up there rather than 13A on 9 out of 10 deadheads...

Any guess as to how many FO's aren't taking the upgrade due to the junior base being NYC, and/or they have a CJO from Delta?

Depends on how loaded they are. I was just under two weeks due to personal constraints. Usually once everything is cleared someone in HR will offer dates to select. This was over a year ago but I don't think it's changed much.
