And for the reserves that get absolutely no control over their credit each month, no credit for a day not called in, oh and the least days off of any line pilots on top of it??? Should reserves be happy with say a $20/hr increase because, they "might break guarantee or should bid first out (like that matters)" Good luck finding days off as a reserve to pick up without bidding a string of 6 on 1 offs, oh then you have to get lucky to have that off day stretch actually have anything to pick up.
Either the rates are a minimum of $25.55/ hr more across the board or it's a no from me.

High and Avro are 100% correct! Any effort to roll the bonus into pay rates MUST be predicated on a guarantee year, i.e. $23000/12/75 which equals $25.56/hour. The increase in every position at every longevity must be at least that or it's a big fat NO for me! No pay cuts for anybody on property, period!

Confused on why we aren't using FAR projections. I'm at 920 company/121 but being bypassed by people with 600 hours of company time although they have prior 121. Short on total time for company mins I know you can't start class till you have it. But common 80 hours... by the time class comes anyway I'd have it. Oh well less reserve.

hey bonehead I've been in constant contact with a member of the negotiating committee during these prelim sessions they have had with the company that are set to continue in february after they finish the costing. He told me straight up if you don't credit more than 85 hours a month you will take a "PAY CUT"...so go ahead and keep drinking the KOOL AID that we are going to come out on top with this one...and if you want this to be different then I suggest you start blowing up the phones of your rep and the guys on the negotiating committee and let them know that we don't want a pay cut.. unless you plan on crediting 85 hours each and every fricking month then yes you will be taking a hit...a majority of us because of different situations( for me its very garbage trips on the 200 in NYC) will take a pay cut.

....and for the record I would not support anything less than the $25.56/hr increase.

FWIW I spoke with the interim MEC chair for a little bit about the unions position on pay rates. What he told me was that the unions proposal to the company was a raise which would equate to even a 75 hour line breaking eveb monetarily (is that a word?). This is of course up to rebuttal from the company but they're stance is that in this environment no pilot should take a pay cut....
