I get it. CA reserve is brutal. I have fleeting thoughts of bidding down to restore a little sanity to my work life.

The company DID put out a memo about it, the same day the update came out (19 Sep, but the memo reads 18 Sep). Read the EFB memo section. They don't show up as red like the rest do; they appear blue as if you have already read them.

It seems that several people don't understand the rules on updates... you DO NOT apply them until the company says it is ok to do so. Flew with a coupla guys lately that just apply the IOS updates as soon as they come out. Works great... until there is a Jepps or other app conflict.

Yeah, that would be nice. Would also be nice if they were in order by date, but they are not.

Myself included. I do however plan on upgrading as soon as I can. Reserve sucks but TPIC on a resume doesn't.

Default Envoy or Endeavor

I posted this on the Envoy forum as well.

I am going to apply to Envoy and Endeavor and hope for the best. May I ask a few questions?

Is the bonus only for FO's? If I read right, Endeavors is for both?

Is it really a year or less to capt as written on APC profiles in New York? I like it there so I would not be worried. I assume Reserve for a long time???

Are uniforms paid for by the company, Ipads, KCM, Parking?

Which would you think would be better to work for? I am not really interested in the flow because of my age. I had my fun already. Looking more for travel bennies and medical bennies.

Bonus is for everyone. It's a retention bonus. I came in with enough time for upgrade and would have been awarded it on the previous vacancy (lga 200) I had 6 months of seniority at the time. Reserve would be awhile if you took the quick upgrade. The first uniform is 1/2 covered by the company and then they take $15 per paycheck to cover the other half. iPads and kcm is covered. Parking is covered if you park in one of our bases, if not they you $40 a month. I enjoy endeavor, benefits are okay. I'd say your likely to be awarded more days off here than envoy if your looking to be home more.

So much. Live in the South so would have to commute. Rather do NY than ATL as I have friends and Family in NY. One leg commute, multiple flights daily so no drama except those NY winters.

Do you also have a commuter clause and hotels like Envoy?

No hotels, we have 2nd flight call in honest (no discipline but no pay and you have to keep trying to get to work all day everyday), flight benefits are way better at Envoy. Delta retires go before endeavor and we can get bumped by any delta employee right up to departure. AA seats are assigned by time of checkin so you can be ahead of mainline. I was at an AA wholly owned and flight benefits are night and day different. I came to Endeavor for ATL. Good luck and based on what you said I would suggest Envoy.
