Where did I say I supported it?
Where did I throw stones?
Offering a correct interpretation of what was in the memo along with the correct info about mainline DH policy is important to the discussion. If you’ll calmly reread the memo and then some of these posts above you’ll see there are misconceptions out in the ether. I would expect you to correct something like this on a mainline thread.
You’re attacking my character now? I get it. You’re overly emotional about this and it shows in your posts. It’s not the first time you’ve worn your emotions on your sleeve on this forum. You’re interpreting blunt, short posts as “throwing stones.” Am I supposed to pat you on the back and say everything is going to be ok? I mean, come on, we're all adults here.
Countless mainline DHers get stuck in middle seats, too. That’s a consequence of flying for successful airlines sometime.
Again, you’re attacking someone who’s trying to give context. If you don’t care then don’t read and quote. I fully expect them to come after us about this, too. It’s only a matter of time.

I’m not attacking your character. I’m saying your posts speak volumes of your character. I didn’t name specifics. But I suppose it warranted the personal attack regarding me wearing my emotions on my sleeve in this forum? And yes, we are all adults. And we are both flying Delta passengers. If I interpret this correctly I’ll be stuck in the back on an Endeavor flight on a deadhead while Delta Mainline is in first class deadheading? I’m pretty sure that you’d be emotional about it too
My character is just fine. You simply can’t handle the change and are lashing out at the easiest target.
Also noticing that someone is wearing their emotions on their sleeve isn’t a personal attack. You’ve already admitted you’re emotional about this.
Lastly, I’m tired of getting ****ed off at stuff in this profession. Some things just don’t make sense and aren’t fair so I’ve learned to move on quickly.

That's how it worked on my deadhead to LGA this morning. Mainline pilots in uniform had PSUP and PSUW on the standby list and were upgraded as space was available. My check-in had the standard "Upgrade Requested" on the check-in page of the Delta site, but no 9E crew were listed as PSUP.

Hounding. Interesting choice of words.
I find it fascinating that there are some on this forum who demand to be mainline's equal yet can’t handle one of them in their playground. Better to have the “get the pitchforks” mentality all the time. The fact that I haven’t demonstrated that is all I’m guilty of in my opinion.
BTW, I’m not ****ed off therefore there’s nothing to move on quickly from.

WTF this place keeps getting worst by the minute, what’s next....????
It’s why there is a upgrade list, which always had us at the lowest upgrade priority, if paying customers were listed on the upgrade list, we wouldn’t get the upgrade anyways!!!
Our leadership constantly thanks us for everything we do, for being the “GOLD STND” this must be a direct result of the appreciation of our efforts!
Great job making the work environment worst every day, I be sure to bid not to DH, at the end of the day DH is for helping the company...
Thanks!

If it’s any consolation to any of you, on the rare occasion that I actually went flying today, I had four Delta pilots, two captains and two first officers all in uniform, in the first class cabin as they deadheaded to... well I won’t say so I remain anonymous.

I can handle the change just fine. Thanks for that asinine assumption. I’ll have to. And since when is discussing something one is emotional about wrong? Are you incapable of trying to see this or discuss this from our point of view? Yes your post was blunt. And I feel insensitive.
I didn’t say being emotional about this was right or wrong. I was pointing out you are emotional which is within your right. I didn’t like it when you claimed something bad about my character was showing through my posts. That’s what got this whole ball of wax rolling.
I’ve been talking to 9E friends about this not on this forum. They aren’t happy about it either but they realize there’s nothing that can be done at the moment. I would hope your ALPA will push back on this. That’s how these things work. A big change comes, pilots get ticked off, then ALPA goes to work. Hopefully, their work bears fruit for you.
If that’s what you wanted to hear first, well, I’m sorry. However, it’s better for you not to assume I was the big, bad mainline pilot coming to burn your house down and gloat.

You all sound surprised by this. This is another step for mainline to make sure regional pilots know their place. The DAL MEC has filed a grievance in regards to our enhanced pass travel and just look at what UAL is doing in regards to their jumpseat priority..
