A phone call which leads to a lunch with a few people and see what if anything could be done to help both ALPA groups. Why can’t something like that occur? How hard can it be?
You're asking how hard it is for a union to have a meeting with another union and decide their company (who they work for, not who works for the union) shall/must hire a bunch of our guys?

You're on a day off drinking?

You’re about as smart as a bag of rocks if that’s what you take away from my questions.

I’d say let’s do it. Delta is treating us like the girl (probably young flight attendant) that was in love with you but you never really made it official, you were just playing with her emotions to get your rocks off every couple weeks while pursuing other women. I’d love to see the look on Baby Bastian’s face when he finds out Endeavor is now a UA CPP regional.

That's about as likely as EB personally showing up at your door offering you a direct entry WB captain job. Our union can't even get us good transportation between the NYC airports. Remember when they were selling us the new TA last year and said we were going to get a corporate Lyft account. Nearly a year later, and nothing. Guaranteed and contractual career progression? Again, nothing...

What is the point of having ALPA at a regional anyway? DALPA will always have a larger um...tool than us.

Because sometime the company wants to bone you for something they did and you need someone to fight for you. Alpa isn’t just a contract Negotiator, sometimes they’re your lawyer.

You like making $50 per hour? There's a good chance that wouldn't be the case soon if the MEC hadn't negotiated turning the retention bonuses into hourly pay *before* we were crazy overstaffed. You'd be sweating the prospect of making $30 per hour to sit reserve starting in January.

Go read the SkyWest ALPA 2.0 thread if you want some education about how the ALPA MECs work.

That wouldn't be so hard if it wasn't for the fact that DELTA OWNS ENDEAVOR, DUDE.
