Normally I would say you are correct and congrats are in order to Trans States, but understand the political issues at Frontier.

Frontier is signing these "flow" agreements to subvert the pilot group's collective bargaining. I would not wish Frontier on my own worst enemy. Things are very bad there right now with no end in sight. They are at the point of striking, but likely will not be released during this administration.

The leverage Frontier pilots have right now (since they likely will be unable to strike) is the fact that no one who understands the state of Frontier wants to go there. This is the Frontier management response to that. Remember that Frontier is owned by Indigo Partners the same group that owned Spirit during their strike (same negotiation tactics used against Spirit back then).

So please, for the good of yourself and the profession, stay away from Frontier.

And give frontier time. They will have Spirit-level contract soon I’m sure.

The Gods and Goddesses at Delta will soon be watching their own subsidiary’s pilots seek employment at other companies.
Soon? Many have. Look at how many have left for United, Spirit, and lately it seems Southwest and Sun Country too. Outside the top 400 ish in the company that are lifers, there are a lot that Delta has left a bad taste in our mouths from the SSP. I'm betting that list will grow rapidly with the DGI.

Just remember you can make twice as much and have better work rules your first year at Endeavor flying a CRJ200. Until Frontier AT LEAST matches Spirit, nobody should be going there, and for that matter their FO's should be looking like ours circa 2014.

Frontier is doing the same thing as Spirit who offered the "flow" to Go Jets, due to the lack fo applicants they wanted. I think Frontier is one meltdown away from a TA. Same thing that Spirit had in May of 2017. About 7 months later an AIP was reached.

"About 300 Spirit flights have been canceled over the past seven days, leaving thousands of passengers angry. The airline says its own pilots are behind the cancellations and is suing them in federal court."

It's a risk some pilots took or are willing to take. 1st year a Endeavor was making twice as much as 1st year at Spirit back in 2015-2016. Now those guys are clearing 200K a year without trying very hard as a 3-4 year CA.

According to a recent DGI memo only 20...which doesn’t seem right.

I guess I meant to say Delta will start seeing our pilots start moving in numbers to other, better, airlines. The condescending Delta culture is not an attractive one.

And maybe our MEC will help facilitate that. I would if I were in charge. I’d pick up the phone, call Jetblue MEC and ask, “hey, what does it take to get a dialogue going with company to make your group happy as well as ours, in brotherhood spirit of course?”

Agreed. I’m surprised that hasn’t been considered with UA yet. They have such a hard on for ALPA, I once jumpseated to LGA on them, when they saw my ALPA lanyard they pretty much immediately went full frat bro on me. The ALPA brotherhood there is strong, in fact, I believe UA’s contract requires that a certain percentage of pilots hired come from ALPA carriers and it’s a relatively high percentage compared to other carriers.

Anyone know how long it’ll take an FO to get ATL?
