LOL, been happened a while. JJ finished out all JA work and gave some direction.
NJ will be good for you guys. Besides it never hurts to move people around a little bit, and that includes base rep positions. Make sure you all vote for your reps and call/email the reps regularly, tell them you wanna know what's going on out there in the MEC land.

Correct, a January 2017 hire, so we are currently at 3 year upgrades (by the time they complete OE). Since we hired 60 a month through 2017 and early 2018, I would expect the upgrade time to rise even more unless we see mass captain attrition. We are so overstaffed already that getting 20 aircraft won't lower the upgrade nearly as much as we would like. Paints a pretty grim upgrade picture for anyone who came here after the TA passed.

I just wish they would actually use reserves to cover trips, not piecemeal legs here and there. Would also be nice if they didn’t treat lineholders as reserves. My last five day trip had only two of the scheduled overnights, and less than fifty percent of the originally scheduled legs. Every day was a longer duty day and shorter overnight. Why even have lineholders? Just have an airline of reserve pilots!
Seriously, the union needs to deal with this. It’s a violation of seniority. It’s no longer the trip that I bid for and was awarded. I planned to see friends on overnights, etc. I don’t have much in the way of seniority, but it should count for something.
