Endeavor, Republic, TSA, GoJet...
 

Any pilots currently flying with any of these companies care to tell the truth rather than what a recruiter says. All of these places and then some are advertising 2 years or less upgrade (some 1 year).
Is this correct? Meaning are the bids supporting these statements? Maybe even you or your friend actually upgraded in this time frame at these companies?

My class at TSA were hired two years ago and three of my classmates are going in to upgrade next month so yes, TSA is actually telling you the truth if they say its a 2 year upgrade.

Before someone comes on here and yells at you for not researching I can only speak for Endeavor but the recruiters are pretty spot on with the Information they give. As far as upgrades from what I hear the recruiters are still predicting around 2yrs but if you have the time you can upgrade now. Not sure how much that will change when the 2014 and early 2015 hires start to upgrade. Pay is ok especially with the bonus. I've never had any issues with scheduling and base management is very helpful. The guys and gals I've flown with have been awesome and very knowledgable. As with any company there will be certain people who should just go live in a cave but I haven't experienced any. I think the quick upgrade for TSA has passed. I'm honestly not sure about gojet other than Delta has gave them a second chance to get their crap together. Like I tell all of my friends I can recommend a place to go based on my opinion but everyone's priorities are different and you have to find out what's important to you. If you live in STL and don't want to commute you may want to go to Gojet or TSA. If you want to make money Endeavor is the place. It just depends.

No quick upgrades with Republic, the recruiters I talked to, never mentioned it. Looks like 4yrs to upgrade. Plenty of FOs with upgrade mins; don't come here with 6000 hrs TT and think you'll upgrade immediately after getting your 1000hrs of 122 time...not gonna happen!

Endeavors movement is starting to look like 2 years or less to upgrade. If memory serves the most junior captain is NYC 200 hired in early 2015 or late 2014. I can't remember the specific details but if you bid for the most junior positions then you can upgrade quickly.

If you have previous 121 time Commutair and Piedmont are upgrading folks upon completion of initial IOE. I believe, but not sure, that it would be on the E145 or Dash 8 at Commutair and on the Dash at Piedmont.

Only 300 121 time. I'm thinking it will take at least a year including training to get the 700 needed for upgrade. Too bad 135 doesn't count.

135 PIC time does per the regs. Are the airlines counting that toward the requirement or no?

No, 135.243(a) PIC time counts, which requires an ATP to be PIC, in a passenger carrying operation in either a jet, airplane with more than 10 seats, or a multi engine commuter operation
