Endeavor or PSA

Where do you want to be based after you move? That would be the deciding factor for me. Both have good pay, decent upgrade times, and the same equipment. PSA has the flow, Endeavor has an interview with Delta.
Is there a reason you are waiting a year to move? The first year is usually the worst to commute.

I personally like PSA's base options better (Charlotte and Knoxville anyway) and the pay is a little better. I think Endeavor has a little bit better contract than PSA though. But, line holders at PSA have a good SAP (schedule adjustment period) to take advantage of which is huge for quality of life. Neither would be a bad choice right now, however anyone hired on now at PSA will be at the front of a "second hiring wave" and will experience quick movement and pretty good quality of life.

Personally, I'm in an almost identical situation to you, aside from being in the Midwest myself. Offers in hand from three companies, including the two you mentioned. I've decided to make the switch to 9E in the coming weeks, scheduled for the 10/17 class. I just felt 9E had their shizzle together better than the others...didn't feel the need to shower after the other interviews. I want to fly at Delta and don't mind the idea of having to stay focused and do another interview.
I learned early on in my career that there ain't no such thing as a free lunch, so working for the double breasted jacket is something I'm excited about. It's an honor to have an offer in hand from 9E and I simply cannot wait to move on from where I am today. It's gonna be fun! Maybe we'll see you on the team soon. Good luck!

Two things - 1) take everything you read on here with a grain of salt, and 2) do whatever you can to talk with someone OTHER than a recruiter from both airlines. If you can find some real line pilots who don't have a horse in the race with regards to the future of the company, you might be able to get an honest assessment of both shops. Sounds like you've likely got your mind made up, which is good. Just make sure whatever you decide is best for you and your family.

I would personally go with 9E, unless you feel you may not pass the SSP interview because of not having a degree, black marks etc.
If you live on the west coast, have you not considered Compass or Skywest as well?

I appreciate the replies. I promised my kid I wouldn't move until this school year is over. Commuting is gonna SUCK! MSP and TYS are nice. Although the winter would be rough up in the tundra😀
TYS looks really nice. Is there a lot of confidense TYS will stay a base for PSA. Endeavor future domicile expansion on the radar?

Agreed with this. If you are on the West Coast and want to stay there, you're choosing the wrong regionals. I'm not sure what PSA's junior based are but if you come to Endeavor, you'll most likely be in New York.

They are all junior right now. Seems like most get CVG and DAY right away, a few get TYS...you can get CLT right now after 6 months from DOH, though that time may increase going forward.
