AA Positive space passes on Jetnet
Our 2 positive space round trip AA tickets are uploaded into jetnet (travel planner) today..
Free FC upgrade if available, SYD here I come :) |
...on a side note for new hires, DO NOT create multiple flight listings, it could lead into losing your flight benefits.
I've been noticing the names of some reserve guys with multiple listings as FDJ EAG to the same destination play "fair" with the rest of us commuters!!! |
One- does the upgrade get coded UPGE like deadheads?
Two- why would it be unfair to list on multiple flights? It's based on sign in time. I'm not a commuter so I'm not seeing the advantage. |

multiple flight listings?
there are hourly flights out of ord to lax as an example, pilots will list and check in to all flights available leaving from ord to lax. some would even list/check in to other california destinations out of ord: ord - sna, ord - ont. another example: ord - mco, ord - mia, ord - fll if you choose to continue, just hope you will not get reported by an agent and potentially lose your travel previledges. (not implying you directly) |

The rules were changed by AAG within the last year which now allow you to change your listing from D2 to D1 up to an hour before the time of departure. This was talked about by Doug Parker in either a town hall meeting or a State of the Airline after it was brought up by a gate agent.

(not implying you directly) I understand that. But if I am going from Boston to lax why wouldn't I checked in all the available flight just in case I miss the first one? If I make the first flight then it would not matter if I am listed in the others. |

I just checked the travel guide, this is what it says.
"You and your travelers may only be listed and checked in for one flight from the same departure city on the same day." |
So if I want to go on a trip for the weekend and I don't care really where I go. Say I book a flight to SFO but miss the flight. They would simply roll me over to the next flight and I would be at the top of the D2 or D1 list (if I signed in 24hrs prior). If you miss a flight they don't just cancel the PNR if you are there.
Question. If I didn't get on the SFO flight could I roll that PNR to a LAX flight? |

Upgrade status?
So if we are using the ATW tickets, does anyone know where we will be on the upgrade list? Is it still just based on check in time, or will we be ahead of the non-rev listers?

How long do we have to use these?

Yes. You would keep your original check-in time as well; however, you have to see an agent to make the destination change.

This is incorrect. These will be A7 passes.

UPGE....just like when deadheading.
a different pass type than your regular non-revenue space available or confirmed space business trips. With this pass type you値l be able to book the last available seat on the plane. And you can easily keep track of how many tickets you have available in the Travel Planner. Select Travelers from the top toolbar and you値l see A7 reward passes next to your other pass banks with the number you have available. Once you致e used your tickets, they値l show up on your Travel History page as type A7A. And unlike your space available passes, these will be removed from your bank at the time of booking. I'm seeing a lot of ignorant and obfuscated information in these comments with regards to your travel privileges in the AA system. Ignorance of the policies and procedures will not save your travel privileges nor will it exonerate you from facing disciplinary action for the misuse of said benefits. If you violate the travel policy and if it affects my commuting ability or quality of life. I will report your abuse of the system through appropriate channels, provided I cannot rectify the situation with you personally. The travel guide is easily accessible through the company website: After logging into my.envoyair.com select the "Travel" button at the top of the page, then select the "Travel guide" link located at the bottom. This should download a *.pdf file for your viewing. It is recommended to keep this as a resource so that you may reference it while utilizing your non-rev benefits. |
My oh my Eagle...that surely escalated quickly. The poster was asking how the upgrade requests works and if it would be ahead of other non revs. I'm well aware that they are A7 passes. And like I said, the upgrade request will show up as UPGE ahead of the D1s etc, just like a DHD. Take a deep breath pal, it'll be alright.

Hey guys, I thought I got an email the other day that mentioned BA and Iberia flights would be available for the tickets but I can't find the email or any info on jetnet about it. Do any of you guys remember this or am I going crazy?

June 9 today@envoy may mention something about it. Don't know if that's what it's referring to or what. That'd be a sweet deal though.

Thanks for the clarification guys
