Airline Pilot Central Forums - Commuting from SGF

I know this is kind of particular and out there but maybe someone would have some advice. I’m looking at heading to envoy and would like to try to commute out of SGF due to the fact that I currently live in Springfield and have family ties/Army National Guard obligations here. It seems like there’s an envoy flight here every single hour or less throughout the day. The question would be how hard is it to snag a line at DFW/ORD and if anyone has any experience with SGF does it seem like a reasonable commute? I know we have a couple envoy maintenance hangars here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
