Default Envoy subsidiary to be sold to Allegiant

The word around here at Allegiant is that we are purchasing Envoy from the American Airlines Group. Envoy will will help expand our regional market and some of the other regionals will take the flying that Envoy will leave.

Lol. Lol. If that would happen. Every pilot at ENY would leave and go to EDV, Peid, PSA, Republic, Spirit, JetBlue, ect. Pretty much any place else. Allegiant would buy a gutted regional with nothing left.

Word around Envoy is that American is buying Alligiant and put it on its regional feed. Lol the problem with that is they are going to have to send most of the airplanes of Alligiant to the junk yard. Replacing them with EMB140’s.

A few years ago, maybe. But Envoy owns none of the planes it flys, and our ground service business and flow though might complicate any acquisition.

If they were going to by a regional they would by express jet. That would make the most sense.
