Lightbulb Where Do We Go From Here?

I posted a couple days ago lightly scratching the surface of the negatives at Envoy. First conclusion from most here is I was fired or that I am a DEC that was fired and that I am disgruntled! All wrong every bit of it in fact this is my employee number 123eatsh*t lol... Now listen maybe the point can't get out by subtle hints and maybe some of you won't agree, but pilots here from time to time complain about QOL, Pay, Schedules, Upper management, or everything. (aiming at all potential new hires) The way most guys here are looking at this situation is that nothing is ever going to change here because you guys are lining up out the door wanting to come here so to the company whats wrong? They see it as the best place on earth to work and what do they fall back on?... Flow! I will admit its a fine line we are treading and any which way we choose to go there will be its draw backs, but on the other hand pilots don't have any leverage right now either.

We all came here for the same reasons as you more than likely. Not all things are bad at Envoy there is a lot of positives and a lot of great people that work here too so don't get me wrong there. If you are already here welcome aboard if you are planning on coming welcome when you get here. Just remember don't come in thinking its full of rainbows and unicorns.

The real question is...why do you give shet if you're so happily employed by EDV?

Although I appreciate your situation and can agree to some points you make, my experience has been quite different.
Jan new hire, NFE, live in base, sat reserve 1 month (4th from top) RAP1 was my friend, held a line in July while getting 3rd or 4th choices.

Would I like to see Envoy improved? Sure. I’d like to see Captain pay increased. They earn it!! Work rules too. I had some issues with a PSI at the schoolhouse and I don’t like the direction they are going with the PSIs but again cooperate and graduate. It’s 121, buddy up, prepare and you can do it. Hell I did . Everyone here does want you to succeed.
Overall LCAs have been great, crews have been chill and hotels so far have been decent. Am I koolaid drinker? Not really. Hell I’ve been “Envoyed” in my short time here a few times already.
Do your homework about any company you plan on being hired by. For me Envoy checked enough boxes that the decision was simple. YMMV

How'd you pull this off my friend? Riding the brakes through training/very senior in large 145 class?

I have actually had a very similar experience, was only hired shortly before them, and I did it both in ORD and DAL. All in all Envoy has been pretty good for me so far. Of course this doesn't mean it cant improve or there are not things that need to change, but schedule wise I have had it pretty good.

The 175 is a different airline and not really comparable. I did 3 mos of involuntary hard reserve NFE feb hire, composite finally 4th mo.

I pretty much rode the first quarter hiring wave along with a couple of vacancy bids and I haven’t looked back.
I couldn’t of planned it because half the time I thought this mustn’t be right😁
