If Envoy is not flying out of LAX, why would they have ground crews already there?

Envoy does all of our ground services at the eagles nest at LAX.

If you’re an Envoy pilot the last thing you want is 20 more airplane for management to staff and make excuses to meter the flow.

The flow won't change for the worst if more airplanes come and it won't change for the better if more airplanes don't come. The flow will scoot along at the minimum levels spelled out in the contract. However, flow aside, stretching staffing to razor thin levels with to man even more airplanes is most definitely something that will hurt the pilot group from a QOL standpoint. More JMs, denials for drops, denials for PVDs, denials for RSV swaps, etc. Certain statuses are seeing these sort of denials currently more than others, but if more airplanes come you can bet everyone will be feeling the pain.

I was referring to the PSA hate - neither me, nor you, nor this guy you are stalking were around at that time. Bad blood won't make our future brighter.

Bingo....

Bingo....

Management will have even less of a reason to work with us if they are biting off more flying by getting the Compass flying. And no I wasn't here when PSA did what they did, but I was in the industry and watched it happen. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

I promise I am not trolling. Word on the street is AA is done with Compass real soon. My guess is you’ll fly their Ejets.

Unfortunately, I've talked to a couple of guys in management as well and I'm told it's pretty much a done deal. Can't believe it until it actually happens, but it sounds like that's what is on the horizon.

And word is that delta is done with compass. How can both aa and delta be done with compass? Does compass own any of their 175s?

AAG owns the 20 planes doing the Eagle flying. I have no clue about the Delta birds. Keep in mind there have been wild rumors flying around that Republic might merge with one or more of the TSH carriers (GoJet, TSA, and Compass). If that comes to fruition, there are all kinds of possibilities.

MD-11Loader 10-11-2018 05:45 PM

In all seriousness, I hope that Compass keeps as much of their DL and AA flying as possible. They are a good pilot group and nobody deserves to have to worry about their future.
