ORD Mea Culpa 12/16
After 4 years at a "legacy" carrier, I had my first "D-Bag Legacy Pilot" moment.....I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.
Ramp had cleared us to taxi after our push from L-1 after an envoy 175 was cleared to their gate on the north side of the alley.
it appeared that we were about to have a mexican standoff....we thought we were a bit too close to ya'lls gate so I muttered "this should be fun" over the radio.
The very chill envoy pilots responded back "nah we got it" and then "perks of flying a little airplane".
To our amazement, they made it to the gate effortlessly, with ample space between both aircraft.
So, my apologies boys.....if I'm ever fortunate enough to meet an Envoy pilot or crew on an overnight, you won't pay for a single beverage.
