Can somebody shed some light on the sequence of events from the time of selection until the class date at AA?

You’ll fly airplanes for a regional feed.

Nine years if you earned it. Question like this deserve a direct answer.

You pass training, you fly for 6-9 years, the last 2 years you don't screw up, don't call in sick too much or do anything out of the norm, and if AA is still hiring, you'll go over there. Then you'll spend the rest of your career at a legacy where you got hired after the biggest hiring wave in history of aviation.

Do whatever you can to beat the flow.

Looks like Dera must have been getting Envoy'd a lot recently. I definitely detect a new hint of saltiness in those posts.

New hire at Envoy today... let's say you flow in 8 years, that means AA will have 8000+ people on the seniority list above you that aren't on that list today. And mainline AA pilots aren't exactly the happiest group of people walking around the terminal.

I'm pretty sure Dera said to have apps in at The Envoy, just always has said data about how the flow really isn't going to be 9 years, which I agree with. We're losing way more than 20 people per month (new L10/11 group kicked in) even when the next group kicks in. There's always top end movement right now, hell I move up like almost 1000 spots in a year, thats just crazy.
