I had a video interview and just moved to the next step of screening with another company. Does anyone know what happens if I leave envoy and they still have not paid retro pay? Will that be the last “envoy’d” farewell? Or will they actually do the right thing and send you a check home?

Those of us who flowed to AA before the deal was made but who are in the window of the retro pay are being told we’ll get at least a prorated portion of what’s owed. I’ll believe it when I see it. I would assume it would apply to those going other than AA too but I don’t have a real answer.

If not paid the retro by Sept 30 then they pay 20 hours at new rate for 4 months instead of the original retro pay, as I understand it.
Now run the numbers and whichever is the cheapest to mgt is what they will do. My math shows retro pay cheaper than 20 per month. So I imagine last pay check September will have the retro pay. Dont expect it sooner.

Just saying that pay increases could be delayed indefinitely per the LOA so long as either retro pay or the 20-15hrs credit is applied at some point. Just getting tired of the loose wording on all these contracts we agree to.

Might want to go back and read the LOA. The new pay scales are effective June 1, 2019. The company has 30 days from the day of signing (July 25) to determine if they can pay the actual retroactive pay, and if not then they will pay the block rate, both due no later than September 30. Now, as others have said the company is just going to determine whichever is cheaper and go with that.

“If the implementation of new rates is delayed, then such payments will be made on a monthly basis until the new rates are fully implemented.”

That's referencing the company paying either the block rate or retroactive. The new rates are effective June 1.
