Or go to Envoy and Commute to reserve probably in LGA.

CHS-ATL is very very commuter heavy thanks to all the guys who fly C-17s on weekends in CHS and work for DL. Have you considered (as much as it pains me to say this) doing PSA? I would imagine that you could suck up PHL, etc., for a little while and then bid to CLT which would be a pretty easy commute.

Just to clear up the confusion with the bonuses, this is from Ric:

July 30th, 2019
RE: Enhanced Bonuses for New Hire Pilots with Qualifying 121 Time

The last four years have been a very exciting time of growth for our company. Year over year we have seen a steady increase in daily operations and the number of aircraft that we fly. And now with our most recently announced agreement with the Air Line Pilots Association we have also seen a significant increase in pilot pay rates and higher flow-through rates, accelerating the timetable for the most current and all new hire pilots to more quickly reach their ultimate destination at American Airlines.

These new higher flow-through rates are projected to deplete our First Officer ranks of pilots who will have the FAA minimum experience levels to upgrade to Captain. In response, we are now seeking pilots who have Part 121 commercial air carrier experience and who can quickly upgrade to Captain in the matter of just a few months.

Enhanced bonuses, of up to $55,000, are available now through November 18th for pilots with 900+ qualifying 121 time. These enhanced bonuses are designed to attract the very best pilots to our team and assist them with transitioning to Envoy and American Airlines.

$37,000 On day one

$10,000 Upon completion of IOE

$8,000 At the end of probation (1 year)

$55,000 Total

Additionally, you yourself can earn $5,000 referral bonus for each pilot you recommend that is selected and successfully completes IOE with these qualifications.

Thank you for all you do and keep up the great work!

Before considering making the move, I would confirm with recruiting and get in writing that this is still valid if hired by the advertised date above.

Interesting. On the Envoy pilot hiring website it says $23k. Would definitely get that clarified if you do decide to come here.

Cant be worse than my last two commutes. On United, every flight ever is oversold and full of commuters. Kansas city to nowhereville, Arkansas at 3 AM will be oversold by 17.

Commuting out of CHS can be challenging. With the C-17 base there, there are quite a few DL guys that do the ATL commute. I would think NY might be a little easier.

Take the money, flow (it's not going to be 9 years, you can bet it'll be under 7) and easier commute to LGA or even MIA. Like people have said, ton of Delta C-17 drivers make that commute.
