Currently i'm on the PPO 1500, thinking of moving to the 750 since the wife and I are planning on having a baby next year.
I was wondering how much out of pocket to expect for the visits and delivery if I use the 750 in-network?

Compare that to about 6500-7000 with the highest deductible.
Things those won’t tell you is that you will max out your deductible for your wife but when the baby is born he/she has their own separate bill from the hospital. Plus the pediatrician will have a separate bill. Plus the anesthesiologist will have their own bill.

Suggestion- put as much money as you can into an HSA this year and switch to the 750 and then contemplate going back to the 1500 the year after.
HSA funds are the only money you will ever make and spend without paying taxes on it.

I’m pretty sure you don’t qualify for the HSA if you use the 750.

I’ve never had a kid while covered by this plan, but I do have experience paying for kids. I’m not sure you need to “expect” to meet the out of pocket max, but I’d certainly plan for it. There are a ton of trips to the doctor in the first year. Even if everything is normal. If they aren’t normal, the last thing you want to worry about with a sick infant is money.
