I hate that they include Envoy at 3.7 hrs for the min day comparison. it should be 0. We don't have a min day. Even 2 hours would be an improvement over our lost days and other soft pay that we don't get.

But it's their fight. I guess they are entitled. Half the people at Envoy think we have a min day pay.

Agree. Could have done so much more and envoy is a growing airline.

More importantly New Balance has a big sale on Velcro shoes right now.

Half the people at the envoy think they get paid more for flying the E175 because that's what the APC profile says. After all, APC takes precedence to the contract, ya know.

So where does the misnomer that Envoy has min day credit originate?

APC, or something obscure in contract that eludes to it in certain conditions, but doesn’t pay it?

There was something that was on a recruiting page that talked about the “min credit” of 3.9 hours per day. And that is true for reserve days, but not for lines. But why would recruiting let the truth get in the way. After all new hires will flow in 5.5-6 years.

You should ask whoever was in the Envoy MEC and the committee structure at the time.

It is mentioned in the contract about daily credit for things like how much sick time you will be charged, how much you will get paid for travel days to training, or how much time will be deducted if you drop a day. It is the average of the monthly guarantee divided out daily.

If it was a daily guarantee, we would get a lot more pay. I probably would have credited an additional 15 hours each month.
