Envoy 2030

The year is 2030.

After almost two decades of retaining the best CASM and RASM in the industry, Spirit Airlines, Inc. is now the largest domestic carrier in the United States after having acquired American Airlines from AAG in recent years.

AAG, due to financial woes, has been divested of all subsidiaries. Existing debt has been restructured and all assets have been transferred to Spirit Airlines, Inc. with the exception of all Boeing products. The 737 MAX, having been "developed by clowns," has led to Spirit desiring to remain under the Airbus fleet type. AAG subsidiaries Envoy Air, Piedmont Airlines, and PSA have been merged and rebranded as "PiedvoySA" and sold to private holding company Trans States Holdings. APA pilots are stapled to the bottom of the ALPA seniority list at Spirit.

PiedvoySA has an industry leading flow agreement with Spirit Airlines where a new hire can expect to flow to Spirit in "just 5 years." PiedvoySA pilots hired at Envoy in the L1011 group and later are dismissive of the program, claiming that flow is a carrot and that it's not guaranteed as evidenced by the flow screeching to a halt in 2021 during the worldwide economic recession. Meanwhile, ex-Envoy ORD CP and ex-AA FO, CW, becomes PiedvoySA's vice president.

This would be funny, if it wasn't so plausible.

Somebody woke up feeling rather chippy this morning. What is RW's role at PiedvoySA?

Also, if 2030 is a year of rebranding, Z's will be all the rage. The Endeavor Republic merger will lead them to be Zephyr Air... PiedvoySA will quickly follow to become Zenith Air, and controllers all across the country will continue to get the two confused.

If you knew what have happened to Japan airline. And Japan did all that they can to save it for the namesake. You would know American carries the name American which has patriotic meanings behind it. The country will not let it turn into spirit.

This isn't Japan. Ford and GM became trash, nobody cares.

Uh, US Air? America West?

This is too easy...

OK I’m a patriot so I’ll play along, how about Spirit of America...better go out and trademark that now!
