Has anyone used this provision outside the vacancy bid? Experience or thoughts on this?

Great tool, but only if used.

seems to work well for guys in the right seat of the 175 who in general have a very easy job and like to do weird stuff like transfer up to Chicago during the winter because they're bored of $2 margaritas in Mexico and want to find out what its like to de-ice.

seen maybe 5-6 guys get matched in 2 years for other seats. it's fun to look at the list and see how many forlorn DECs are still trying to get to Miami hopelessly - good luck dudes :(
