Probably doing whatever they can to make commuting (reserve in particular) as miserable as they can, so people have to accept the “generous” 19h offer.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised that airlines have not pushed too hard on the scope front yet. I expected them to try to get scope relief as soon as the first virus headline showed up in the news, as they never seem to miss that opportunity in any crisis.

Wrong.
The 19 hour "deal" is a stop gap for now. A good chunk of pilots wanted it. No-one is forced to take it. Forcing people to take it is not their game plan.

Well, if you are unable to make your commute or you are in a high risk group, that is when you start “wanting” your 19h. There would have to be a pretty good reason for it, otherwise if you have any seniority on reserve, you can essentially be on a 75h leave instead of 19h.

This 25% of pay deal has been offered pretty much to all employees, probably just to bridge the gap till Oct 1 when they can start furloughing.

I doubt a good chunk of pilots wanted a 75% paycut. Especially since our pay is 100% guaranteed until the end of September, possibly even longer.

I agree, but that is exactly what Tom said on the call the other day. I swear people get elected into these positions and suddenly forget the last 15 years.
