furloughees getting dragged off airplanes to accomodate smug cadets on their way to have an instagram breakfast in san diego or something is a reality here, we should appreciate this more

A cadet should not have a higher priority than someone furloughed. They are both technically
non employees. It should be equal priority then.

I thought a furloughee doesn't any have any flight benefits at all?

According to the contract a furloughee only gets 30 days off pass travel. It would seems the company has actually been somewhat generous in what they are offering. The cadets aren’t part of the CBA so there’s probably not much that can be done about them.

Cadet programs cost money, so the fact y’all will have pilots on the street while keeping the cadet program is sad.
