1st Envoy Pilot to Flow

When will the first Envoy pilot flow? The one that wasn’t hired when it was Eagle? What will be years to flow at that point?

December if I remember the date of name change correctly. Roughly 7.5 years. Dropping to 6 years at some point next year.

And up to well over 9 in a few 😂

That pilot already has just flowed. I was told they just selected May 2014 for the next class to flow.

American Eagle became Envoy on April 15th, 2014. A date which will live in infamy. We played taps over the radio.

Has Charlie Bucket flowed yet?

With American hiring 400 in the next 60 days, how will the movement @Envoy look like for a a new hire this next year? Or will it better for one to jump ship from Envoy and go to a non WO company to take advantage of this hiring wave?

leave envoy ASAP!

NoValueAviator 11-02-2021 06:07 PM

AA hiring sprees hurt Envoy. More guys senior to you when you finally make it.

only 40 envoy flows will be among that 400. The remaining 360 randoms will be senior to you until they retire or die.

Make moves wisely, it’s chess not checkers. New rona outbreak in the east. The bilderberg types aren’t done…https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...st-since-wuhan

ABX Air (121 cargo ACMI) is interviewing / hiring like crazy in dfw for December classes and beyond into 22’ fyi. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Oh Good Lord. When will you finally figure out that the only reason that Eagle, or it’s five merged entities, or Envoy, or PSA, or whomever, is to pay everyone on property less money?

You really continue to wax rhapsodic over that camaraderie and esprit d’Corps that was probably ginned up in some consultant’s office as a way to continue the racket laid out above?

You undermine every other thing you try and contribute when you bring up that nonsense.

What about the 824?

They weren't hired as Envoy pilots.

It's espirit de corps, not d'corps. d'corps would be correct if the next word begins with a wovel. Like d'Europe etc.
Get it right man.

If you can leave to go somewhere better, by all means, but don’t leave just because they “won’t hire you from a wholly owned”. If you have the qualifications they are looking for, they will hire you during this next wave. Not being at Envoy likely won’t get you hired at AA any faster.

So grammar accurate, concept still good. And Uncle Rico won't miss a beat I'm sure.

This I know 4 envoy captains that have multiple cjo’s at AA, delta, United right now.

The next few months will be pretty catastrophic for Envoy staffing. They are losing almost 100 pilots, most of them captains.

I’ve been told envoy is doing as much as they can to keep people back. The September flow selection still doesn’t have a class at AA yet.

NoValueAviator 11-05-2021 07:22 AM

Burn baby burn.

how much of the uptick in highly questionable discipline/missed assignments and stuff is a perverse retention effort trying to get dirt to send out on PRIAs?

Is this correct? Is Envoy really holding flows back?

If so, does this mean that no Sept/Oct/Nov flows for Envoy?

They didn't make you promise not to sue in the bonus agreement for nothin

Seriously? Are all of the AA WOs doing this, or just Envoy?

read your contract

The make up...I know.

But that didn't answer my question. Are the flows going to AA on schedule, and as planned?

buddies8 11-05-2021 10:35 AM

Actually your contract states you can be withheld unders certain circumstances. So if 20 are to go, 20 will go even if someone is withheld, just go down to the next pilot.

None. MA's and discipline are not in your PRIA from Envoy.

Yes they are for now.

Hahaha. Wait until you get to AA and realize that contracts don't matter. At all.

The company does whatever they want and it is APAs job to defend the company and pretend that all is well.

Enjoy your time at Envoy where the work rules are significantly better and contracts matter.

In this environment, I don’t see how that works. If they’re hirable at AA otherwise they’ll just go somewhere else unless they’ve got an AA or bust mindset.
