Load restrictions on flts in/out of Dominica
I'm going to try and non-rev to Dominica on Flt 3579 MIA-DOM on Jan 10th or 12th. I know that Dominica has a very short runway. Does Envoy cap the number of passengers so that they can make it in and out? I just don't want to find out at the gate that while there are empty seats available but that they can't be filled due to performance issues.
Thanks for the help. |

Thanks for the help. If EYW is any indication with its short runway, it is possible that the flight can be weight restricted going out of there. |

That's hard to answer just by looking at the system.

Yeah, I realize this is a tough one to answer unless you've flown the route. I think the runway in DOM is 5,700' so I'd be surprised if a 50 seater could make it in and out with a full load. I've checked the loads using the Staff Traveler app but don't know if the open seats is based off all the seats or if it is based off a set seat restricted number.

You can do FL04 out of EYW (unlike OAX for example), so most of the time EYW supports 85.5.
