Access to 175 Flows, Triggers, Callouts?

Hello All,

Future DEC. No previous 175 time. Looking to get a headstart on the rote memorization items.

Any thoughts on how to get copies of the above before class starts, please?

I understand that everything will be available on the company provided EFB issued on Day 1 of class, but I'd rather not wait that long.

Many thanks (truly so).

Not what you want to hear, but you will have plenty of time to learn. Everything is (in theory), just like every other company, proprietary information and not legally releasable.

You can probably find a lot of stuff on Quizlet. However, it may or may not be specific to Envoy.

Also, as of late they seem to provide that information earlier, than they used to. Like pitch said, you'll have plenty of time and there isn't that much to memorize.

I'm in the same boat, though I had 6 years flying the 190 a decade ago. I want to get myself well ahead of the power curve, show up for training and feel like it's more of a refresher. Plus I need to hard erase the Airbus info that is still stuck in my head from the last 10 years flying it.

I've found Quizlet does have several sets of E175 study cards, some are marked as Envoy, though they are user created, so while I'm going through them, I'm not memorizing everything in case there are bad numbers in there.

Where did you fly the airbus at?

You'll get a 180 page AQP study guide (limitations, memory items, flows and FMS procedures) at your orientation. You'll get the rest on your EFB on day 1 of training.

In the meantime, you can look over this quizlet. It has just a few minor errors, but it's still a good primer: https://www.brainscape.com/packs/e175-envoy-9429843

Yes. I retired earlier this year after 16 years at Jetblue.

If you’re smart and gonna be here in 8 months you’ll drop this guy the study guide and split the referral bonus w/ him

That would be great, but I imagine he’s already on the books so ineligible for a referral.

Please please please read the expanded sections of the flows found in AOM1. The study guide doesnt go that indepth. Knowing simply you looked at that portion of the hydraulics panel isn't adequate, you need to know what you are looking for.

I completely understand wanting to get a head start. The good news there is a LOT of time available assuming you show up day 1 completely focused on nothing but getting through. I went through as a complete newbie to 121 / professional flying back in May/June. Those of us who studied together, played the stump the chump flash card game, all did fine on the knowledge testing portion. There are also gouges that will circulate among the classes. The students one class ahead of you will pass back their gouges.

It is easy to forget, they want you here and they want you to succeed. This is not the old days where instructors were looking to weed you out.

We built a good group of friends studying together. A few failed their MV on the first go around, had to retrain. We huddled up and supported each other and all made it through to the line. You will too.

Envoy wants you here.

We want you here.

Come on and get on the line so we can go fly together!

Welcome
